Community Sentencing empowers our participants to overcome barriers faced by many justice-involved individuals.

How do we do this?

  1. Supervision – Case managers work with each individual participant to use their identified strengths, along with appropriate treatment and supportive services, to decrease criminogenic risk factors and promote prosocial behaviors while fulfilling all court-ordered requirements.

  2. Treatment Services – Each participant is referred to treatment services based on their level of need as determined through evidence-based assessments. Through our partnership with the Oklahoma Department of Corrections, treatment services are free for our participants!

  3. Personal Development – Our case managers go beyond items that have been ordered by the court to ensure that by the time our participants graduate, they have made progress on their personal goals. This can include goals such as career training opportunities and job placement, gaining visitation rights and/or custody of their children, obtaining a GED or other desired educational certification, and more!

  4. Employment Services – Employment is a significant indicator of success for justice-involved individuals and plays a major role in reducing criminogenic risk. We have a full-time Employment Specialist on staff who works to build relationships with businesses in our community and to place out participants directly into employment. Additionally, we have partnered with Career Tech to provide vocational training opportunities on-site at no cost to our participants.
